According to paragraph 4 of Article 3 of Law 3446/2006 (Government Gazette A’ 49) and Ministerial Decision 93143/2021, which define the terms, conditions, and procedures for the loading of construction machinery, the preparation of a Loading Study for Construction Machinery is required separately for each loading vehicle.
The "Loading Study" is a technical document signed by a licensed Mechanical Engineer and accompanied by a "Loading Plan". This plan illustrates the method of loading and specifies the maximum allowable limits for vehicle dimensions and height, which must be adhered to during the transport of construction machinery.
The study is carried out in accordance with EN 12195-1:2010 for the calculation of lashing points,
EN 12640:2000 regarding the structural resistance of the vehicle body
The Loading Study, along with two copies of the Loading Plan, must be submitted to the competent Department of Transport and Communications. One of the copies is certified by the authority, returned to the applicant, and must accompany the transport vehicle at all times during the loading and transportation process.
