Responsible Declarations of the Electrician-Installer (Y.D.E. - DEH Plans)

The Electrician-Installer’s Responsible Declaration is an official document issued by a licensed and certified electrician-installer. This declaration provides legal assurance that the electrical installation has been completed in full compliance with safety requirements, ensuring the functionality and safety of the project and protecting users from potential hazards.

Purpose and Content

The Electrician-Installer’s Responsible Declaration includes the following:

• Confirmation of Compliance with Legislation: Certifies that the works were performed in accordance with applicable technical regulations and safety requirements.
• Description of Electrical Works: Details the executed tasks, such as installation of wiring, distribution panels, electrical devices and other necessary interventions.
• Guarantee of Safe Operation: Confirms that the installation meets all safety standards and is safe for use without hazards.
• Reference to Modifications or Alterations: In case of modifications to existing installations, the changes made are described in detail.

When is the Responsible Declaration Required?

The Responsible Declaration is mandatory in the following cases:

• Upon completion of electrical works requiring an operation or construction permit from the competent authorities.
• For modifications or expansions of existing installations to certify compliance with safety regulations.
• When submitting declarations for Cadastre registration or other legal procedures requiring technical certification
• During inspections by public authorities or for insurance coverage of the project, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.

Signature and Responsibility

The Responsible Declaration is signed by an electrician-installer licensed by the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), ensuring the legal and technical validity of the project. This declaration is critical for the safety of the installations, compliance with legislation and guaranteeing the proper operation of electrical systems, providing full protection for users and the project.
